Day 1
Seoul → Gunsan ~234Km / 145mile
Depart from Seoul, heading west towards the coast. Once outside the bustling city, you’ll find open roads stretching towards the sea, providing spectacular views along coastal routes. Take a short break at Sappyo Lake or Daecheon Beach before arriving in Gunsan. This charming historic harbor city, known for its early 1900s architecture, offers a memorable sunset over Korea’s western coastline to conclude your first day.
Day 2
Gunsan → Mokpo ~234km / 145mile
Start your day in Gunsan and travel south along the west coast. Enjoy riding the expansive Saemangeum seawall, an impressive road that feels like you’re gliding across the sea. Continue along the scenic cliffs of Byeonsan Peninsula, passing tranquil fishing villages and expansive mudflats. Your destination, Mokpo, awaits with its vibrant port atmosphere and fresh local seafood restaurants.
Day 3
Mokpo → Yeosu ~238km / 148mile
Today’s journey leaves the west coast behind and follows the southern coastline toward Yeosu. Day 5

Enjoy the coastal roads, ocean cliffs, and small harbor towns along the way as you experience the refreshing charm of Korea’s eastern coastline. In Pohang, end the day with a visit to Homigot, Yeongildae Beach, and fresh local seafood.
Day 7
Pohang → Gangneung ~244km / 152mile
Ride north along Korea’s east coast toward Gangneung. This section is one of the most refreshing parts of the Korea 777 Route, offering wide-open ocean views and the true charm of the East Sea. As you follow the long coastal roads, you’ll pass the deep blue sea, open horizons, seaside cliffs, and small harbor villages along the way. When you arrive in Gangneung, beautiful beaches, seaside cafés, and stunning views where the mountains meet the ocean will be waiting for you.
Day 8
Gangneung → Chuncheon ~137km / 85mile
Leave the east coast behind and ride inland toward Chuncheon through scenic mountain roads. In this section, the atmosphere changes from open ocean views to the mountains, forests, and lakes of Gangwon-do. Enjoy a relaxed ride through cool highland areas, winding mountain roads, and quiet countryside scenery. When you arrive in Chuncheon, the calm atmosphere of this lakeside city, surrounded by Uiam Lake and the Soyang River, welcomes every rider.
Day 9
Chuncheon → Seoul ~211km / 131mile
Enjoy the final ride of your journey as you follow scenic roads where rivers and mountains come together. As you get closer to Seoul, the natural landscape gradually changes into the lively atmosphere of the city. After passing riverside roads and urban scenery, your long journey on the Korea 777 Route comes to an end in Seoul.
