Leave the city behind and head east toward Gangwon-do. Ride along the Bukhangang River and enjoy the clear water, peaceful riverside scenery, and endless forest views. This refreshing ride through nature makes the beginning of your Gangwon-do journey even more enjoyable.
Once you enter Inje, continue through winding mountain roads and take a short break at Hangyeryeong Service Area, where you can enjoy wide-open mountain views. After that, you can relax at Pillye Germanium Hot Spring or end your first day at our recommended accommodation, Inje Speedium, with a unique circuit view.
Day 2
Inje → Gangneung ~193km / 120mile
Start your day with a ride over Misiryeong Old Road, a winding mountain route of about 11 km that connects Inje and Goseong-gun. Reaching an elevation of 826 meters, this scenic mountain road is one of today’s highlights, offering beautiful views of Gangwon-do’s natural landscape.
When you arrive in Sokcho, we recommend stopping by Sokcho Central Market and enjoying a fresh local seafood meal. Afterward, continue south toward Gangneung while feeling the refreshing sea breeze along the coast. Once you arrive in Gangneung, take some time to enjoy a peaceful walk by the seaside.
